About us

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy appointed Arup+ in 2018 to be the programme manager for Hy4Heat. Arup worked with technical and industry specialists: Kiwa Gastec, Progressive Energy, Embers and Yo Energy. Together the group formed Arup+ and was the team overseeing the programme and technical management of the entire programme (work package 1) and also working on preparations and plans for a community trial (work package 9), should BEIS decide to progress to this stage.  

BEIS appointed contractors to deliver the programme’s other work packages (2 through to 10) and they were all part of the wider Hy4Heat delivery team.

The programme finished in early 2022.
